Spa Information :

The Spa Centre is located at La Roche sur Yon, at 20 km from the Domaine de Brandois. You will pamper your senses with delightful health spa treatments made up of 100% natural products! You shall get the opportunity to try a massage with shea butter and orange essential oils, a salt and flower petals scrub, or even a cocoa bean wrap!

For your spa holidays in France, you will experience soft water spa treatments together with some seawater components. The seaweed wraps shall undoubtedly bring a marine touch to your luxury break. The Day Spa of La Roche sur Yon is located near La Rochelle, the Sables d'Olonne and the Atlantic Coast, all famous for their spa centres.

The Day Spa of La Roche sur Yon is one of the rare spa centres in the Vendée Region to feature such a cocooning atmosphere. You might refresh yourself all day long by sipping some organic and healthy drinks such as tea, herbal teas and fruit juices. Natural products are present in the spa centre as well as at the bar.

In-between your health spa treatments, you will have free access to the spa centre relaxation area with steam bath, sauna and aromatherapy room. These facilities shall therefore enable you to wonderfully complete your spa programme at La Roche sur Yon!

A bathrobe and a towel will be provided for your spa holidays.

The Day Spa of La Roche sur Yon is opened from Monday to Friday as from 10 am to 8 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm.

Your Spa in France also offers daily free access to the relaxation area which comprises of steam bath, sauna and aromatherapy room.

To complete your exhilarating and relaxing moments, we suggest you go for some nice strolls along the Atlantic shore, on the Yeu and Noirmoutier islands. You might also be tempted to embark on Marais de Poitevin, on one of those typical Vendean boat called the « plate ».

The place : Between the Atlantic Ocean and hilly hedged farmlands, the Domaine of Brandois welcomes you in the French region of Vendée. Located halfway between the Sables d'Olonne and La Roche sur Yon, it welcomes you for charming spa holidays in France.

This majestic castle dates back from the 19th century. It is situated at La Mothe Achard and is ideally located at the heart of a 54-acre park where tranquility and peace prevail in the Vendean countryside. Thanks to a delightful combination of styles, the Domaine de Brandois features 29 rooms, all decorated with taste and in a much-sought contemporary design. For your spa holidays in France, you shall choose between different room categories.

Of an area between 215 sqf and 325 sqf, these rooms are split into 3 categories according to the building in which they are located.

The 19th century castle comprises of most refined rooms where comfort and originality form part of the overall decor. All are equipped with free WIFI connection and Satellite TV.

You shall appreciate the lively shades and colors, and the contrast of forms and materials. The furniture lay out is original and offers a unique experience in this spa hotel in France!

The buildings and some of the hotel dwellings also cater for disabled residents.

Please note that parking is free and that a lift serves the upper floors.

A meeting room is also at your disposal in the hotel priory. It covers an area of 1290 sqf and can accommodate up to 100 guests for a cocktail reception.

Restaurants : Restaurant "Domaine de Brandois"

This bright restaurant is located in the castle and is opened everyday. Just like the rooms decoration, the restaurant is modern and plays on contrast between colours. In summer, you might enjoy the beautiful outdoor terrace which opens on the 54 acres of surrounding nature.

The « Domaine de Brandois » restaurant serves traditional cuisine and highlights regional products. The Vendean oysters and scallops with plantxa are only some of the delicacies awaiting you on your spa holidays in France!

Sports et leisures : In addition to your spa package, you shall experience many activities. In La Mothe Achard, the 54 acres of the Domaine de Brandois forest is the perfect place for walking and cycling. Your spa hotel also offers you to use bicycles for free. If you are fond of horse riding, you will find in Domaine de Brandois complete facilities such as horseboxes, reins, riders tracks, etc. You will therefore be able to come with your own horse and enjoy enchanting rides in the surroundings. An equestrian centre is also located at some 15 minutes only from your spa hotel.

For your leisure time, a swimming pool is also at your disposal within the hotel premises. It is heated in summer and sheltered by old stone walls, offering a nice place to relax.

Close to their health spa in France,the Domangère 18-hole golf course will please all golf players! It is located at 10 km only from the Domaine de Brandois. This technical and diversified course is made up of water spaces and of flat, woody and hilly areas. The Domangère Golf Course, par 72, 7380 yards, is well integrated in its natural environment. Its 17th hole is one of the longest par 5 of France.

In La Mothe Achard, a curiosity might be of interest to young and old alike: the Extraordinary Potager (a fabulous vegetable garden). It is home to more than 200 varieties of exotic plants and cucurbitaceae. This garden can be visited from June to October. Its highlight is the biggest pumpkin national contest, held on the first Sunday of October.

At 20 km from La Mothe Achard, La Roche sur Yon city, set up by Napoleon in 1804 , bears witness in all aspects to its historical heritage. Many shipping companies provide sea crossing from the mainland to this island.

The Noirmoutier island, on the other hand, has an area of 49 km² and has been named « Mimosa Island » due its mild climate that enable plants to grow throughout all seasons. The island is linked to the mainland by a bridge and is known for its salt marshes, its sand dunes and its forests of live oaks.

Another attraction of Vendée is the Marais de Poitevin (the Poitevin Marshland). Discover 222 400 acres of verdant nature and entwined channels, and embark on one of the typical boat, called « plate ».
